I read something the other day about how the average person moves 11.7 times in their life. That sounds like a lot, but is pretty accurate based on my own life. Thanks to the size of Texas, I can’t even say that moving states has been the longest distance move I’ve made.
I have the hardest time keeping up with tourist posts. They should be so easy, because that's definitely when I take the most photos. Alas, so many scans, so little posts.
I honestly don't remember when or where in Oklahoma these were taken, I just know they exist.
The cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde are absolutely mind boggling. I vaguely remember visiting them on a school trip when I was in the 5th grade, so I jumped at the chance to visit again on the way home from Moab.
It was getting late in the day, and a few of the areas were closed off due to recent damage, so I didn't get to explore as much as I would have liked. All the more reason to head back that way ASAP.
Spring is in short supply these days, but it has been nice to enjoy the occasional day outside.
...and play in the sprinklers with the puppy. This guy joined the family about a month ago, and is already double the size. He's going to be huge, y'all.
