2017: Twelve

Logic puzzles are one of my absolute favorite things. These days it's hard to find books of JUST logic puzzles, so the two I have are strictly rationed - otherwise I'd do them all in one sitting and be very sad later. (I know apps for that sort of thing exist, but they just aren't the same, and I'm definitely not that hip)

Tied with logic puzzles on my favorites list are personality tests, if we're being real honest, and survival games fit nicely in the venn diagram of the two. I came across one called, "Lost at Sea" today, so logically, I'm now obsessed with it. I spent lunch today working on the aforementioned, along with one based on the moon, and another in snowy Canada with my work-mate, Cupcake. She excelled in the snowy tundra, while I did my best work on the moon (28 points!). It would probably take both of us to kind of survive in a shipwreck (62 her, 32 me). 2017: Eleven

• You can't turn off the flash completely. 

Instax Mini Pro:

• The size is the cutest, and just perfect for showing off our rad donut towels. 
• On second thought, the always on flash is part of the charm, I suppose.

2017: Eight

Happy National Bubble Bath Day! I didn't celebrate in the expected fashion, but I did catch a picture of the cat being a creep in the bathroom, and that's basically the same thing, right?

2017: Seven

Braved the snow not once, but twice in one day! My poor car was buried under a good amount of snow before my adventure out to the library. Other drivers were much worse than the roads, so I quickly headed back to reread the first two Series of Unfortunate Events books. Made it out a second time this evening to see La La Land now that it finally made it to the movies here. Perfect first movie of the year. 

2017: Six

Today, I drank a lot of tea, stayed snuggled up in my pajamas, and didn't even consider leaving the house for one second. The fire has been going nicely since I got up, and I finished not one, but two books (Scarlet by Marissa Meyer and the fourth Harry Potter). Slight case of cabin fever? Potentially. But that's a problem for another day.

2017: Five

Since we're under the threat of several inches of snow, my office is officially closed tomorrow. Starting off a three day snow weekend with hot chocolate by the fire. No better place to be. 

2017: Four

Resolution: Attempt to be less of a grinch about weddings, and give planning one a decent shot. Looking at sample invitations has been decently fun, even if they are all terrible and unnecessarily expensive. It'll work out - I've got 11 months to get as excited about a frivolous party as I am to be legally obligated to hang out with Hutch until we die.  

2017: Three

Feeling like a true Millennial for once with my online order groceries and (very accidental) artsy photo of said groceries.
