But thinking back on it, I still found some time to make and eat a million baked goods.
Plus, we made time for some excellent date nights. And I even had time to take quite a few spontaneous road trips.
Additional celebratory Friday vibes from the multitude of sprinkles in the cabinet, and homemade whipped cream. My only question is, can you buy sprinkles by the pound? That's something I may need to start doing.
It's nice to have friends in the same field as you; it makes them much more likely to agree to getting up early on a Saturday to have their picture taken.
Cynthia is one of the most genuine, talented people that I'm lucky enough to be friends with. She not only lives in the prettiest, most light filled apartment, but she also has the cutest puppy on the block.
It also happens that she and I have been working together to stay productive and motivated, even with busy real life schedules. I can't wait to announce the project we've been working on together in the upcoming months.
(here's the full album, just in case the post title gets you feeling nostalgic)

Back in December, I sent my mom a roll of 35mm film, just to see what she would shoot with it. She sent me the film back recently, and I was super excited to get it developed.
Because I'm a terrible, impatient customer, I peeked at the film the day it was developed. At first glance I didn't recognize any of the places or faces I would have expected to be on the roll. Upon further investigation, I realized the roll was also double exposed. I double checked the tags on the film to be sure I wasn't just stalking someone else's film by mistake, but as I did so, I suddenly recognized one of the faces on the negatives.
Depending on what camera you use, sometimes the film doesn't get rewound all the way back into the canister when you finish shooting it. If you happen to overlook that, and stash the film to be developed later, there is a huge possibility that you'll find that film years later and send it to your mom for fun. I took the original images sometime around 2008 (I think). Considering that neither of us knew, or expected the roll to have already been shot once, some neat things came out of the accidental collaboration.
